Commissioner Candidate Forum

This 2024 Commissioner election is important. Not to sound overly dramatic, but the viability of the county’s future is at stake.

If you have not been following this election season, the Ponte Vedra Community Association and Palm Valley Community Associations hosted a candidate forum for the eight candidates.

This was a forum, not a debate. Candidates were invited to share their views and platform, not to debate with their opponent. Candidates had to agree to these rules before they could participate. The full video of this forum is available on YouTube, and thanks to the hosts for recording the 90 minute meeting so those unable to attend in person could see and hear this important information.

Please find time to watch this video. A few questions to ask yourself as you watch:

  • Do the candidates understand the scope and limitations of a County Commissioner’s role?
  • Are the candidates well informed about what a commissioner can and cannot do?
  • Do the candidates have the best interest of the county, as a whole, in mind?

Many sincere thanks to the Ponte Vedra and Palm Valley Community Associations for this important information and resource about the coming election.
